About Me

Hi, I’m Ryan, the one-man band behind Kinetic Vehicles. If you’re here, chances are your Subaru touchscreen has gone off the rails—ghost touches, bubbles, totally unresponsive. Yep, I know the pain. That’s exactly how this all started.

How It Started

A few years ago, the screen in my own Subaru started freaking out. The dealership wanted over $1,500 to replace the whole radio unit. No thanks.

So I dug in, figured out that it was the touchscreen (not the entire system) causing the issues, and found a way to replace just that part. That fix worked—and it stuck.

What I Do

I specialize in repairing and replacing the touchscreen digitizer on certain Subaru models—mostly 2018–2019 Outback/Legacy and 2019–2021 WRX with Harman Kardon systems. You’ve got two options:

  • Order a DIY screen-only kit (comes with everything you need + a how-to video)

  • Or ship me your radio and I’ll fix it for you, usually in 2–3 business days

It’s way cheaper than the dealership, and it works.

Why I Do It

I’m a problem-solver at heart, and I believe if something can be fixed, it should be. I built this service to help people avoid getting ripped off for a simple issue—and to give folks a real alternative that’s fast, fair, and works.

A Bit About Me

I’m based in St. George, Utah. When I’m not working on radios, I’m usually spending time with my family, wrenching on vehicles, or working on other weird little projects. I care about doing things right, treating people fairly, and building stuff that lasts.

So if you’ve got a screen issue, feel free to reach out. I’ll be the one answering your emails, fixing your radio, and packing it back up when it’s done.

Thanks for stopping by,
– Ryan
